1. Order Processing Time

What it means:

  • Once you place the order and payment is confirmed, the store prepares your order (picking, packing).

  • This usually takes about 1–2 business days before shipping out.

  • Orders placed on weekends/holidays may process the next business day.
    (Typical for similar stores with 5-day delivery estimates.) 


2. Shipping Time

What it means:

  • After processing, the courier delivers your order.

  • A “5 days delivery estimate” usually means about 3–5 business days in transit once shipped.

  • Business days don’t include Sundays or public holidays.
    (Many stores use similar timelines when they show “~5 days” at checkout.) 


3. Shipping Rates

What it means:

  • The shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

  • Some stores offer free shipping above a certain order value, or a flat fee based on weight/destination.

  • Very small orders may pay a basic delivery charge.
    (Common approach for Indian online stores.) 


4. Order Tracking

What it means:

  • After your order ships, the store or courier sends a tracking number by email/SMS.

  • You can use this number on the courier’s website to follow the package.
    (Standard practice with most online sellers.) 


5. Delays

What it means:
Delivery can take longer than 5 days for reasons outside the store’s control, such as:

  • Weather problems

  • Courier network delays

  • High order volume (festivals/sales)

  • Issues at local hubs

Stores usually don’t guarantee delivery exactly in 5 days — it’s just their estimate. 


6. Incorrect Shipping Information

What it means:

  • If your address is wrong or incomplete, delivery may fail or be delayed.

  • The courier might return the package to the seller.

  • You may have to pay extra for reshipment in some cases.
    (Standard e-commerce practice if address details are not correct.) 


 7. Lost or Damaged Packages

What it means:

  • If a package is lost or damaged in transit, most stores recommend:

    • Contacting the courier with your tracking number, and

    • Then contacting store support if assistance is needed.
